Warriors of Luxiria, and its spin-off Warrior of Rozun, are formulaic yet fun “mars needs women” romances. The alien warriors are sexy barbarian types. The human women they fall for are modern heroines tortured by their desire for their Luxirians and their longing to return to Earth. Spoiler Alert: they stay in Luxiria and have all the babies! While the formula gets repetitive by The Alien’s Touch (book #4 of Warriors of Luxiria), we were still very invested in each couple’s happy ending. Draven shakes things up for the better with The Alien’s Claim (book #8 of Warriors of Luxiria), Warrior of Rozun (spin-off), and Rescued by the Luxirian (novella taking place hundreds of years in the future!).
