While Foss provides a much appreciated warning about the “dubious consent” issues of this world, NOTHING could have properly prepared us for what was to come. Ander raised ALL of the red flags. First, he gripes about no longer wanting to have sex with human women because the last time he “shared” a human woman, she died during the act. ICK. Second, when Katriana continues to rejects him, he injects her with a substance that accelerates her going into “heat”. DOUBLE ICK. There is dubious consent and then there is no consent. This romance is full of the latter. Also, where the heck are the zombies?!
Andorra Sector doesn’t completely fall into the D-grade category because it DOES keep you reading and it is fully of steamy sex. Beyond that, there’s not much to be found here. It is unlikely that we will read other books in this series.
